No MOT records found for this registration.
This may be a new vehicle (under 3 years old), a vehicle exempt from MOT, or an invalid plate. Private plates must have been MOT'd at some point to appear here.
Data from DVSA MOT History — covers all MOT tests conducted in England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland uses a separate system and is not included. Keeper names and addresses are never shown. Gaps between vehicles typically indicate the plate was held on a retention certificate. Results cached for 1 hour.
How it works
1
Enter any registration — private cherished plates, personalised plates, or standard age-related plates all work.
2
We query the DVSA — official government MOT records, updated after every test. The same data as check-mot.service.gov.uk but presented as a full timeline.
3
See every vehicle — if a private plate was transferred between cars, each vehicle appears as a separate section with its own MOT history, including pass/fail results and failure reasons.
Limitations: DVSA data only covers MOTs conducted in England, Scotland & Wales. New vehicles don't need an MOT for 3 years, so recent transfers may not appear. Keeper history (who owned the car) is not available — only MOT test data. Gaps between vehicles usually mean the plate was held on a DVLA retention certificate.
